World Fisheries Day was observed on 22nd November
World Fisheries Day is celebrated on 22nd November. It is celebrated by Fisheries communities. Various Rallies, Workshops, Dramas, Exhibition and Music shows are performed to celebrate the day. The main aim to celebrate this day is to aware people about the importance of water and the lives which is going only because of water. It was first celebrated in 2016.
Sports activities organized under Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao in J&K
Girls are the important part in everyone’s lives. They are the one who has the ability to run this world. ICDS Department with District Youth Services and Sports Development organised Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. Various sports activities were organized in J& K. Cricket, Badminton and Tug of War were some of the sports activities are played by approx 200 girls.
