Australia-India Water Centre launched

To promote Water related research, training and teaching between the two countries Australia India Water Centre has been inaugurated in a virtual event. This water centre will help Indian and Australian partners to explore opportunities and create synergy for a long-time collaboration in the field of research and education. Along with this, the centre has 21 partners from India and Australia.


PLI scheme approved for ten more sectors to boost manufacturing

Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme has been approved by Union Cabinet. The ten major sectors including pharmaceutical drugs, auto components, and automobiles for enhancing India’s manufacturing capabilities and export. It took over a 5 years of time and the budget passed for this scheme is nearly Rs. 2 Lakh Crore.


Digital/ Online media now under Govt. regulation

Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has been put Digital/ Online Media under them. Because earlier there was no law or antonomous body governing digital content. Digital content providers such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hotstar will now be regulated by the Union ministry headed by Prakash Javadekar.
