NGT imposes ban on sale and use of firecrackers in NCR and other cities having poor air quality

In order to prevent Corona virus and also from the poor quality of air NGT put total ban of sale and use of firecrackers in NCR. Adarsh Kumar Goel issued an order and directed that it will be applied to all the towns and the cities in India. The states having average quality of air are allowed to burn green crackers but only for 2 hours.

Country’s longest motorable single lane bridge inaugurated in Uttarakhand

India’s longest Single Lane Motorable Suspension Bridge has been inaugurated in Tehri-Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. It will cut the distance between Tehri and Pratapnagar from 5 to 1.5 hours. The bridge is 725 metres long. And, it has been built in 14 years over the Tehri lake with a cost of Rs. 2.95 crore.
